I received a BFA in Fine Art and work as an artist creating art, teaching, taking commissions, and selling work. After years of helping curlfriends turn their frizz into curls, I decided its never too late to embark on a new, addional, and enriching career. I attended the prestigious program at Aveda Institute Atlanta while working in salons around Atlanta. In 2014 I travelled to New York receiving advanced training in curly hair cuts and color using the Devacurl method. Combining my love of art and beauty, I merged my art studio with my hair salon. Also being committed to providing the best possible services and protecting the health of my clients and the environment, I'm using Organic Color Systems - an organically derived color system that colors beautifully without amonia and formaldehyde. I enjoy working everyday in my studio going back and forth between painting, sculpting, and creating beautiful hair.
