Founded in 1947, the Forestburgh Playhouse, operated byTheatrical Arts at Forestburgh, Inc, is the oldest continuously operating professional summer theatre in New York State The Forestburgh Playhouse operates during the summers only, from mid-June through Labor Day, and offers 3 different types of performance experiences: musical theatre and plays, a youth theatre and musical cabaret shows.
